Ann envisions a future where everyone is empowered and treated equally, with their voices heard and their dreams supported—a world where individuals work together to take care of nature, teaching our children the importance of being responsible stewards of the planet.

Ann believes that, by learning and guiding others, we can all become nature’s helpers. As Mahatma Gandhi famously said, “We must be the change we wish to see in the world.” This powerful quote resonates deeply with Ann and serves as a daily reminder that change starts with each one of us.

Clive is curious about the world and strives to gain different experiences, through work and life. He is interested in identifying and supporting opportunities in the intersection of business and society.

You can typically find Clive reading a biography or being smashed down in Muay Thai training. Cristina is based in the Philippines.

Striving for a more sustainable, just world is not always an easy task, but Cristina finds peace and confidence in her faith as a Christian. One of her favorite lines is from Proverbs 19:21: “Many are the plans of the human heart, but it is the decision of the Lord that endures.” With God’s wisdom guiding her, Cristina embraces each day with a positive outlook, knowing that no matter what challenges come her way, they are part of a greater plan.

"I am committed to transmitting unheard voices, for the sake of a world that nurtures all beings. I practice Whanaungatanga - Building relationships to deepen connections."

Elisa was one of the pioneer advisors in Southeast Asia to move client capital towards impact investing at the Swiss bank where she’d worked for 13 years. She also served three terms on the Board of the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE), a leading organization for gender equality advocacy in Singapore.

When she met Unsu in 2012, they bonded over shared values and aspirations for a less unequal world, among many other things. Elisa was inspired by Unsu to see beyond what is broken in the now and look to for ways of seeding and keeping little flames of adjacent possibilities alive. Through Imaginal Seeds, Elisa now brings her drive, boundless energy, curiosity, and love to the fruitful work of developing deeper relationships and connections with other post-capitalist thinkers and practitioners.

Elisa has committed to a life-long personal journey of slowly unlearning the assumptions held within our current economic systems, by asking: What are the narratives we need to let go of, and how do we reimagine our economy to be in service to life? How do we recognize nature’s inherent rights and create incentives for regeneration? How do we shift our culture from commodification and extraction, to relationality and reciprocity? How do we root the stewardship and benefit of land guardianship in local communities?

Outside her role as a trustee of Imaginal Seeds, you can find Elisa practicing permaculture with her children in their home in Aotearoa (NZ). She finds great joy in teaching her children about inter-being through the head, heart, and hands work in her garden and in her childrens’ school community.

Unsu likes to describe himself as a community philosopher, someone who tries to see things from different perspectives without getting confused and who uses this ability to guide communities towards collective prosocial thinking.

He is interested in exploring pathways towards nonviolent, participatory and postcapitalist futures. He has been in deep inquiry and practice with meditation, de-accumulation, degrowth, metamodernism, sociocracy, nonviolent communication, and animist ways of being.

Unsu loves reading, and is always open to discussions about books and ideas. He enjoys exercising his thinking mind while on walks. He is scared of heights and wishes he was a better cook.

Will comes from a blood lineage of generosity, family, and unconditional love. His grandma would go on hunger strikes to ensure none of her grandchildren were caned, no matter how mischievous they were.

He comes from the spiritual lineage of wisdom and compassion. He is deeply blessed to have received living transmissions of heart and spirit from many teachers, from Thich Nhat Hanh to David Steindl Rast to Ajahn Amaro; and from spiritual farmers like Pierre Loisel and Ernst Gostch to angels like Auntie Kamala, the owner of a tiny South Indian restaurant where he gets breakfast often, who wakes up at 330am every day to pray for an hour before bringing all that peace and joy into the food she prepares.

He comes from the land lineage of the tropics, feeling most at home as an Earthling in the endless sun and rain, the mind-boggling biodiversity, and the warm-hearted people.

His favorite quote is from Mary Oliver:

"Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,

the world offers itself to your imagination,

calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting - over and over announcing your place

    in the family of things."

Will is in the middle in the picture above.
