Balon Energy is supporting the development of a floating platform that uses solar energy to generate hydrogen stored in balls (balons in Bahasa) that in turn can be used as alternative fuels to diesel for coastal communities.

Bob Brown Foundation is an environmental campaigning organisation dedicated to protecting wild places and wildlife. Founded by environmentalist Bob Brown, this feisty foundation takes defiant and effective Action for Earth, combining direct action on the frontlines, stopping destruction through the courts, and conducting critical science to save habitat for threatened species.
Powered by dedicated individuals around the country, the foundation draws inspiration from Bob Brown’s enduring message: “We're up against it at the moment, but history is full of episodes where people stood against a tide that was wrong and changed it.”

Deep Time Walk
The Deep Time Walk is a physical walk of 4.6km where participants walk across Earth's 4.6 billion year history. Starting at the formation of the solar system and the creation of Earth, the walk covers some of the most significant events and key revolutions in Earth's deep history, including the formation of the Moon, the oceans, the atmosphere, the early evolution of single-celled life, plate tectonics, multicellular life, the Cambrian Explosion, mass extinctions, dinosaurs and right at the end, our own species, Homo sapiens - just in the last 30 centimetres! Through the walk, participants develop a richer and deeper relationships with nature, deeply question their place in the living world which in turn leads to a deep commitment for positive change.
Imaginal Seeds helped to facilitate the training of the first batch of facilitators in Asia and the first ever public walk in Singapore (and Asia) on 17th March 2024.

Ebier Suth Cokran
Ebier Suth Cokran, located on West Papua, Indonesia, plays a vital role in the global cacao supply chain, a food system in need of radical transformation. Founded in April 2022, it is owned and driven by the local community of Ransiki with the vision to breathe life into an old commercial cacao farming estate that became dormant in 2005, bringing back jobs and local prosperity. With a 100-year government permit to manage 2,000 ha, they conduct regenerative farming through dynamic agroforestry, utilizing multiple species to optimize ecological processes and mimic natural ecosystems.

Fairventures Social Forestry
GRANT PERIOD CONCLUDED
Faireventures Social Forestry is a project creating reforestation and sustainable timber value chains launched in Indonesia in 2014. The project distributes commercial timber seedlings and trains local farmers to plant trees and restore degraded land for economic use for the local communities, improved biodiversity, and carbon sequestration capacity.

GTDF is an arts/research collective that collaborates around different kinds of artistic, pedagogical, cartographic, and relational experiments that aim to identify and de-activate colonial habits of being and to gesture towards the possibility of decolonial futures.

Greenwave
Greenwave Aotearoa (GWA) is a not-for-profit organisation driven to establish a regenerative, replicable, and scalable seaweed farming model that is farmer-centric and aligned with Māori values. Launched with a 3-year pilot lead by EnviroStrat, GWA aims to establish a new aquaculture sector in New Zealand by addressing regulatory hurdles, operational uncertainties, and commercial risks. Greenwave Aotearoa looks to collaborate with farmers nationwide to develop robust cultivation capabilities and scale a sustainable supply chain.
